About

A soft pixie cut (a short layered shape) featuring internal layering and a diagonal fringe. The longer length, extended fringe, and use of over-direction make it ideal for clients who want a short haircut with shape and texture—without the harshness. The fringe is cut with a razor to create instant softness and movement, while the internal layers keep the shape strong yet feminine. This cut is perfect for building confidence with short hair, where every detail matters. Notice: For frizzy textures, avoid using the razor and use scissors instead to reduce frizz. What I’ll share and what you’ll learn: •A short haircut using a Layering Technique: Elevate each section to 90 degrees from the head, working consistently from top to bottom (difficult) • Fringe Detailing: Use a razor to cut a soft, diagonal fringe that complements the face and adds lightness • Body and Hand Positioning: Maintain consistent angles and posture to ensure precision and flow throughout the cut • Over direction for a softer look Ideal Hair Types: • Straight to wavy • Medium to coarse density Tips: • For fine hair—especially at the back—leaving more length can help the shape feel fuller and softer • On very thick or coarse hair, keeping the layers slightly longer can help prevent unwanted lift or spiking when the hair is short • For Frizzy hair use scissors and Use styling products that define texture and support softness without adding weight Episodes/chapters(videos) TITLES and video order with numbers: 1 Section pattern 2 Sides 3 Back 4 Texturizing & Perfecting -Back and Sides 5 Top & Crown 6 Connecting Top & Sides 7 Diagonal Fringe (Side Bang) 8 Blow Dry 9 Refining, Personalizing & Perfecting 10 Final result
