MY STORY
I’m Davide Spinelli, and what I love most — more than cutting hair, more than being on stage is teaching. Not just technically demonstrating a haircut. Actually teaching. Guiding someone to understand it, feel it in their hands, and grow their confidence — one movement at a time.
I’ve been in this craft for nearly 30 years, working in some of London’s top salons, including seven years at Trevor Sorbie Covent Garden, and travelling across Europe and the US to teach, share, and present. But no matter where I’ve been, my mission has always been the same: to help hairdressers understand hair and haircutting, grow real confidence, and reach their goals through focused, honest learning.
DS Academy was built for that. For hairdressers who want more than just step-by-step demos. For those who believe the secret to being great lives in the small things, in the way you hold your comb, angle your fingers, move around the head.
